Object (gum, stomach, intestine)
This large oil painting is the record of a three-pronged performative sculpture. The painting appears to be a tromp l’oeil portrait of a chewed wad of gum, however, instead of visually observing the object, the artist used only his tongue to "observe" the object in his mouth by feel and then register it in paint.
